David Heathfield tells Rabbit and Jaguar, a Mayan tale, with children learning English
David Heathfield (Storyteller) tells Rabbit and Jaguar, a Mayan folk tale, with children learning English in Hamburg. The children guess the ending before finding out the traditional, mythical ending.
Storytelling activities at a state school (implemented by Rose Gimenes)
The Rabbit and the Jaguar is a Mexican tale we can find in http://www.worldstories.org.uk/ . David Heathfield, the storyteller presented us with this tale and I adapted it for kids to perform in class. We enjoyed the story during our English lessons and then we've decided to play with it going beyond drawings and painting masks. It is a delightful tale to dramatize in class and have fun.
