The aim of this talk is to reflect on the implementation of drama activities in Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) in various contexts. Educational Psychology, Theatre and Teaching English as a foreign language are three areas of knowledge supporting this proposal. Results from a research project called Living Drama in the Classroom: an experience in Significant Learning show positive change in students´ attitude towards their own learning process: their resistance is lowered and a feeling of togetherness/collaboration is strengthened.
