LIVING  DRAMA

No dia 02 de agosto de 2019, foi conduzida, no XVI Fórum CLAC, da URFJ, a oficina: "Atividades Teatrais e a sala de aula: espaço de aprendizagem e pertencimento". O objetivo desta oficina é refletir sobre a implementação de uma proposta pedagógica baseada em atividades teatrais no contexto do Ensino e Aprendizagem de línguas, especialmente de Inglês como língua estrangeira em certos contextos educacionais.

This talk discusses how Through the Tunnel, a short story by Doris Lessing, is used as an analogy between the protagonist´s experience and students’ learning process experience. Discussions of the story with learners of English seem to enhance their self-awareness and willingness to learn. The interdisciplinary theoretical framework is grounded on Affect and resistance to Significant Learning.

The aim of this talk is to reflect on the implementation of drama activities in Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) in various contexts.

On September 21st, at 12:15, Vera Cabrera Duarte presented a talk entitled: Teaching/Learning English as a Foreign Language:  Overcoming Resistance Through Drama Activities.
